Some of you may have taken out several mortgages in your lifetime and you know all about what's involved. But as real estate agents, we find that many of our buyers have never had a mortgage or they've only had a few. After all, it's not something you go out and get once a week. The whole financing thing can be confusing and when you couple that with also looking for a new house, the whole process can be a bit overwhelming.

What we have tried to accomplish with this site is to explain in layman's terms a little about home financing. Keep in mind that we're real estate agents, not loan officers. Your lender will need to address your specific questions, but maybe by browsing the site you will at least know some of the questions to ask.
